by Kat Zhang
Thot: I didn't finish this book and from what little I read I don't remember that much of it. I know I felt confused and my final straw was the melodrama. Both Addie and Eva were perpetual over-reactors.
Q: I would have read the first ten pages and "query letter" and asked for a partial and I would have rejected the project on that.
Flock
by Wendy Delsol
Thot: It's so hard to say goodbye to a series and set of characters that feel like home. I will miss Kat and Norse Falls, but I was completely satisfied ending the series with Flock.
Pushing the Limits
by Katie McGarry
Thot: This book took me by surprise with how much I got into it! I usually don't go for romance books, I often write them off, and was prepared to do so with Pushing the Limits, but ultimately decided it might be worth the read, in the same way Anna and the French Kiss was worth the read, when all the raving reviews started pouring in. I'm glad to say you should consider this another romantic YA not to be missed!
Casting Call:
Butter
by Erin Jade Lange
Thot: Wow this book was powerful. I was in love with this voice, this message, this book all the way through, though the ending with Anna suddenly coming around made little to no sense to me. I wanted Morgan and Butter to tie up their relationship, which within the very few scenes they had together, had sparks of true beyond-the-surface chemistry going both ways.
Q: I would have requested a partial based on the "query letter" and first ten pages, then I would have requested a full. Finally I would have requested some revisions, because I truly believe Lange giving readers the impression that Anna and Butter would become an item was too perfect, too surface, which was the antithesis of the whole book.

I've been wanting to read What's Left Of me. Kind of sad you didn't like it! I'll probably still give it a go ;)
